Monsters in Your
Closet - Face Your Fears (middle)
Dealing with life as a middle school student can be
tough. Everything seems too big and there aren't any
easy answers. Patrick helps students see through
their fears: fear of failure, fear of not being
accepted, fear of what they can do. These fears are
real but the danger is usually imagined. This
presentation will encourage your students to believe
in themselves and the dream they have.
I Challenge You (high school/college)
The responses vary -- either you sit quietly
reflecting your past or you cheer because you are no
longer haunted by your past. The bottom line you
will look at yourself differently after this
presentation. Patrick uses true situations to teach
students about being a leader and making a
difference in the lives of other people. This
presentation focuses on the ability to set goals and
the confidence to never give up. Patrick will
challenge your audience to never say "I Quit!"
Games Leaders Play (all ages)
This is a fun and interactive workshop that
uses "low rope" type activities to teach team
building and group dynamics. The group will be
engaged through activities such as Welded Ankles,
Moon Ball and routinely ends with a Trust Walk.
Participants will learn skills necessary to
effictively lead their peers and have fun while
doing so.
Orientation Activities (all ages)
You guessed it, name games, ice breakers and
energizers. No chairs allowed in this workshop --
it's all non-stop fun!
New Leaders (high school/college/adult)
Jump ropes, steel rods and pool noodles are
all props used in this workshop. Focusing on team
building, communication, and goals, students will
create vision statements and work through a series
of crises in a role playing activity. Students will
also focus on the importance of teamwork and proper
communication skills. This breakout session ends
with a self-evaluation exercise that highlights the
groups' goals as well as the individual participants
goals. The self-evaluation is mailed back to the
participant 4-6 months later as a follow-up
exercise. . . or an opportunity for them to
"re-commit".
I Want To Build. I Want To Serve.
(college)
Ever want to create something? Ever want to build an
organization or a group for a cause or an interest?
Patrick will teach the participants the keys (and
pitfalls) to starting an organization as well as the
secrets of making the idea on paper become a
reality.
